Summary - In New York City, a case of mistaken identity turns a bored married couple's attempt at a glamorous and romantic evening into something more thrilling and dangerous.
User Comments - This movie is currently number 1 at the box office and a surprise sleeper hit. I can see why after watching it, its a joy to watch because of the two appealing lead actors. The Fosters are just a humdrum ordinary couple, he a lawyer, she a real estate broker. They love each other dearly but are trapped in what they consider a boring life. This movie is sort of a comic Hitchcock film like The Man Who Knew Too Much. Ordinary people are swept from their humdrum lives into a world of danger and intrigue. Phil and Claire learn the hard way in this story that maybe a boring life is the best life and its also not very wise to steal someone else's reservation. In a movie like this, you have to care about the people in danger and who wouldn't care about this nice couple. Steve Carell did a wonderful job as Maxwell Smart in the 2008 version of the old TV show. He proves here that it was no fluke. Tina Fey also proves that she is more then someone who can do a dead perfect impression of Sarah Palin. They are so great together I hope to see them in another film. This movie has one of the most unusual car crashes I've ever seen involving two cars with locked bumpers. They also do a nice spoof of the end of True Romance in the end, all the bad guys have their guns drawn on each other.

In the early 1960's, sixteen year old Jenny Mellor lives with her parents in the London suburb of Twickenham. On her father's wishes, everything that Jenny does is in the sole pursuit of being accepted into Oxford, as he wants her to have a better life than he. Jenny is bright, pretty, hard working but also naturally gifted. The only problems her father may perceive in her life is her issue with learning Latin, and her dating a boy named Graham, who is nice but socially awkward. Jenny's life changes after she meets David Goldman, a man over twice her age. David goes out of his way to show Jenny and her family that his interest in her is not improper and that he wants solely to expose her to cultural activities which she enjoys. Jenny quickly gets accustomed to the life to which David and his constant companions, Danny and Helen, have shown her, and Jenny and David's relationship does move into becoming a romantic one. However, Jenny slowly learns more about David, and by association Danny and Helen, and specifically how they make their money. Jenny has to decide if what she learns about them and leading such a life is worth forgoing her plans of higher eduction at Oxford.

Pandorum
Plot - Two crew members are stranded on a spacecraft and quickly - and horrifically - realize they are not alone. Two astronauts awaken in a hyper-sleep chamber aboard a seemingly abandoned spacecraft. Plot - Charlie Price, a former scientist turned science fiction author, starts living one of his novels when the Federal Science Foundation's weather experiments escape control and turn disastrous.
User Reviews - Ice twisters was fun to watch. I wouldn't buy it, but looked forward to seeing the end after dinner. It involves using technology to alter the weather with some unforeseen consequences. It surpasses a native American "rain dance" at first, however soon becomes something more than rain on demand. Not bad for a Sunday afternoon if your not a football fan in the fall/winter. The central characters are an award winning scientist turned fiction writer, because of governmental ulterior motives and his book writing assistant who suddenly encounters serious dangers in a small American town for a book signing and television interview. On the other side are the mobile scientists testing this new weather creating technology nearby where tornadoes have never been seen before. Tornadoes capable of freezing entire landscapes in 72 degree weather. The fight begins as the characters join forces in this rural area, and because of casualties the "evil" government gentlemen attempts to continue regardless, but when destroying the ice twisters is no longer an option, communications with them are inevitably very difficult to say the least. But will destroying them solve what has been put in motion closing in on populated areas?
